LCA 2015 Auckland Venue

The University of Auckland.

The 2015 linux.conf.au will be held in Auckland, New Zealand in the University of Auckland's modern Owen G Glenn Building. This is the home of the University of Auckland's Business School and is one of Auckland's most architecturally striking buildings.

With state-of-the-art teaching facilities and sweeping views of the Auckland Domain and Rangitoto Island, the Business School offers a unique location for our conference, and is walking distance from central Auckland.

Disabled access and facilities are available throughout the building.

The award winning iconic building stands as a place of convergence for business, academia and government — a collaborative, knowledge-rich environment within which to forge the capabilities that this country needs to succeed in sophisticated global markets.

The conference will mainly take place on Level 0. Some of the great features are:

  • 600-seat lecture theatres (Fisher and Paykel Auditorium).
  • 300-seat lecture theatres.
  • Smaller 150 and 75 seat theatres
  • Extensive open space where you can meet other delegates informally.
  • Plenty of bench-top space and power points

The Owen G Glenn Building has five levels of car parking beneath Level 0 (over 1,000 spaces) and is the main car park on the University of Auckland City Campus. Access to the car park is via Grafton Road, opposite Stanley Street.

More information about the Owen G Glenn Building is available on the University of Auckland website.
